1. Race results announced on race day will be ‘provisional’. Final results and entitlement to prize money shall be subject to the rules mentioned herein and the Race Regulations.
2. Runners must cross the start line by the time specified by the Race Technical Team on the Race Day.
3. In addition to the above, entitlement to finish positions and prize money winnings are also subject to–
Bib tag timing captured across all timing points on the course, including at the start and finish mats, and
Physical verification by technical officials and anti-cheat cameras.
4. Runners found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or bib tag with others, will be disqualified from the competition. Such runners shall not be entitled to any timing or prize money (where applicable).
5. Prize winners declared may be required to submit further proof of identity/age, as may be required by the Event Promoter, for disbursement of prize money, failing which the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, withhold disbursement or disqualify the said participant from competition.
6. The cut-off of finish time for prize money entitlement for all the race categories would be specified by the Race Technical Team on the Race Day.
7. Key Details on TDS for Foreign Sportspersons
- Applicable Section: Section 194E (TDS) read with Section 115BBA (Taxability).
- TDS Rate: A flat rate of 20% is deducted on the gross amount, plus applicable surcharge and a 4% health & education cess.
- Threshold: There is no minimum threshold for TDS under Section 194E; tax must be deducted even on small payments.
- Time of Deduction: TDS is deducted at the time of credit to the account of the payee or at the time of payment (in cash, cheque, or any other mode), whichever is earlier.
- No Expense Deduction: The 20% tax is calculated on the gross amount, and foreign players cannot deduct expenses (such as travel or accommodation) from this income.
8. Winners from overseas will receive prize money on the same day after deducting applicable taxes as per Tax Rules laid down by Government of India.

12. Prize Claim Process for Winners
Runners winning ₹50,000 or above must submit:

13. Runners winning below ₹50,000 must submit:
Scan copy of valid ID proof

14. The winning amount will be transferred within 10 days after receiving the required documents and completing necessary verification.
15. Prize money will not be disbursed on the day of the marathon.
16. Protests and Appeals
a. Any confirmed runner can lodge a protest in relation to the official race results in relation to the age category finish positions declared after the race
b. Your Protest must be emailed to md.innovationsindia@gmail.com
c. Only the protest letters received on or before 15th February 2026 will be entertained.
d. A jury shall deliberate, verify and deliver its decision on the Protest within 14 working days of receiving the Protest Letter. The decision will be intimated to the person lodging the protest and shall be featured on the event website, where in favourable
